As of Lately...

Lately I've been feeling super stressed about the upcoming months. Scarlett still is waking up 4 times a night and still won't go back to sleep until I feed her. They say 12 months is the time you can start weening them off, and now Scarlett is 10 months old so the time is shortly creeping up!

I know I don't have to ween her off exactly at 12 months, but this no sleep thing really is getting ridiculous. Every day I tell myself, "Okay tonight I will let her cry it out every other time she wakes up." But then when the time comes, I'm so tired I just want her to sleep so I go and feed her.

So here it is, tonight I WILL let her cry it out every other time she wakes up. Maybe this should be my New Years resolution lol. Now that it's said and out there, I have to do it. I know in the back of my head that this isn't normal first off and second it will only take a couple of days for her to get the message.

Anyways, that wasn't exactly where this post was going but I just needed to get that out there haha. Scarlett has been doing even better at this baby-led-weening and it gives me hope that maybe eventually she will be weened off of me! Usually when I put new things in front of her to eat she is hesitant and it takes her a couple of minutes to try it. But once she does she loves it!

Lately her favorites have been...

Wheat Ritz crackers with a little cream cheese on top. At first she just sucked off the cream cheese, but once she ate some of the cracker she didn't stop. Oh and I gave her mixed veggies but those didn't go over as well as I had hoped.

She loved them lots. :)

Yesterday I bought some of those baby Gerber meals (I know,I know...)  and tried one of them yesterday. The first one she tried was the spaghetti o's with meat sauce. At first she was hesitant so I put some on a wheat cracker and then after that it was game over. She couldn't get enough of it!

Pasta (she devours this and it usually ends up covering her whole body).

Homemade chicken noodle soup! Especially the carrots so that's good to know she already likes her vegetables. I was afraid she'd be like me and never eat veggies or fruit!

Tomatoes, she just tried them the other day and wouldn't put them down. She definitely has Robs taste buds!

Oh and here is Scarlett's first pony tail. :)
